Mechanical Engineering Department with MESA organized Parent-Teachers Meet for F.Y., S.Y. & T.Y. Mechanical Students

The Mechanical Engineering Department, in association with the Mechanical Engineering Students Association (MESA) of Sanjivani K.B.P. Polytechnic, successfully organized a Parent-Teachers Meet for parents of F.Y., S.Y. & T.Y. Mechanical students on 13th September 2025, from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Seminar Hall No. 007.

Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) serve as an important platform to bridge communication between the institution and parents, ensuring support for a student’s holistic development. Through PTMs, parents get updated on the academic progress and performance of their wards. They also help in identifying and addressing academic, emotional, or social challenges that students may be facing. Such interactions encourage collaborative solutions between parents and teachers. Moreover, parents can share feedback on teaching methods, facilities, and the academic environment, fostering continuous improvement.

The event witnessed an overwhelming response from parents and teachers who actively participated in the discussion. The session created a collaborative triangle between students, parents, and teachers—paving the way for better outcomes.

Prof. D. A. Patil (Head, Mechanical Engineering Department) and Prof. V. S. More (Event Coordinator) felicitated and expressed gratitude to the parents for their valuable presence.

Special thanks to to  Hon’ble Amitdada Nitinrao Kolhe (Managing Trustee, Sanjivani Rural Education Society), Prof. A. R. Mirikar (Principal), and Prof. D. A. Patil (HOD, Mechanical Engineering) for their constant encouragement in organizing such constructive initiatives for student development.

“ ‘Sanjivani’ – Among First Unaided Autonomous Polytechnic in Maharashtra”

MSBTE has always been a pioneer in implementing the recommendations of the National Education Policy 2020. In this regard, under the guidance of MSBTE, Sanjivani K.B.P. Polytechnic has been granted autonomous status starting from the academic year 2025–26.

After the recommendation of MSBTE and DTE, the AICTE and the Government of Maharashtra have confirmed this autonomy. With this, Sanjivani Polytechnic has become among the first unaided polytechnic in Maharashtra to receive autonomous status.

The Polytechnic was established in 1983 by the Late Hon’ble Shankarraoji Kolhe Saheb as one of the first four unaided polytechnics in the state. At present, it is being run under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Nitindada Kolhe (Chairman, Sanjivani Rural Education Society) and Hon’ble Amit Kolhe (Managing Trustee).

This historic achievement has brought joy and pride to all students, parents, alumni, staff, and stakeholders of the institute.
