Controller of Examination (COE) Desk
The Office of the Controller of Examination (COE) is a key statutory body of the Institute responsible for the planning, conduct, monitoring, and continuous improvement of the examination system in accordance with the norms of autonomy and academic integrity.
The COE ensures that all examination-related activities are carried out with fairness, transparency, confidentiality, and accountability, maintaining the highest standards of assessment and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities of the COE Office
- Planning and conduct of End Semester, Supplementary, and Re-examinations
- Preparation, moderation, and secure handling of question papers
- Implementation of evaluation, result processing, and declaration
- Handling of revaluation, verification, and grievances
- Maintenance of examination records, ledgers, and academic data
- Ensuring compliance with Academic Council and Governing Body decisions
- Continuous improvement of the examination system aligned with outcome-based education
- The Examination Cell functions with the objective of supporting students and faculty by providing a robust, reliable, and student-centric examination framework, while strictly adhering to institutional regulations.
- Students and faculty are advised to regularly visit this section for notifications, schedules, rules, circulars, and examination-related updates.
